Our General Church Meeting took place on Sunday. This is an annual event, directly after a morning service, when everyone in our Church is invited to review our position, discuss our opportunities and agree the way forward.
We unanimously took the decision to adopt and publicise a Mission Statement, to provide a focus for our work.
“To know Christ and to make Him known”.
To help us achieve this goal, we also agreed on a Vision Statement.
* To be strong disciples who obey the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ.
* To make more disciples.
* To be a church that reaches out in God’s love to proclaim and serve our community.
We pray that these will help us to focus our efforts in bringing glory to God and enabling us to make more disciples.
